I have one question, why? why bother to meet with these people.palin has no business being there. why would the president of afghanistan, or columbia care what she has to say. they dont voet. she knows nothing about foreign policy anyway. in my opinion it would be a very akward conversation because they will have nothing to talk about.
in my opinion i think that this is a political tactic that mccain is using to try to prove to everyone that palin is educated in foreign policy, despite her stupid comments in her interview. but he doesnt have me convinced.

Palin should be meeting with foreign presidents and prime ministers. Say John McCain is elected, but something happens to him and he in incapable of doing his job anymore. Sarah Palin would need to step in. In order to do this, she would have to have prior knowledge of foreign policy and know how the foreign leaders are. Although Sarah Palin most definately is NOT experienced with foreign policy, John McCain is. I think Palin should know about foreign policy if she plans on becoming vice president.
To HL- Barack Obama's traveling around the world is good, as he too is running to become president. All he was doing was reaching out around the world to people, putting out his ideas, meeting foreign leaders. This is what he will have to do as the next president if he is elected.
i agree, why would Palin need to visit foreign leaders. I have no objection toward McCain doing that as he aspires to be president. But, why would one want an a vp candidate uneducated in foreign policies to meet with foreign leaders.
