History WILL be Made-November 4, 2008

In my opinion, history will be made on Nov. 4. but it wont be about the oldest president to be sworn in to a first term, or about the first woman VP. it will be about the first black president. Obama will win by a landslide. its obvious. he is winning in every poll, and winning tremendously in the electroral college. it is definantly a good year to be a democrat.
however i dont understand how poeple still think that mccain can win. look at it realistically- mccain can win all the battleground states and still lose. its over for him, and thats the hard truth for republicans. and even if mccain could have staged a comeback, its too late.
so, in my opinion this election is over. senetor mccain will still be senetor mccain, and senetor obama will be President obama.

I do agree with this article. it is too late for mccain to come back. and the polls prove it. obama has a solid lead, and hes winning every battleground state. and lets say that mccain wins ALL the battleground states he would still lose. so sadly its over for the "maverick". and as much as he trys to make it seem, he is nothing like ronald reagan.
the republican party is slowly deteriorating, as this week it announced it lost 10% of its members to the democratic party(i heard this on rush limbaugh's radio show for all you conservatives out there who might try to argue this fact). george bush, as well as john mccain helped 10% of republicans switch sides. i know alot of people who are voting obama because they dont like various aspects of mccain (i also know people who are voting mccain for the same reasons). i know for fact that my moms aunt, who is a full blodded american, and a republican is insulted that mccain chose palin as the VP. mccains negative campaigning and false statements also added to her case against the "maverick". and for someone like colin powell to come out and endorse someone on the other team, means something is wrong with the republican party.
so i think that the republicans can kiss their dreams of taking washington good-bye, because realistically it is not likely.

Bradley Effect

In my opinion i dont think there will be a bradley effect on this election. i may be wrong, but ill tell you why i think racism will not play a mojor role in this election. for one, i have realized that the American people take their politics seriously. especially when it comes to the highest office in the land, i think that they will make an educated choice rather than a racist, uneducated choice. Also, one must analyze the times that the bradley effect took place, 1982. in my opinion, it was too soon for a black person to hold high office. today i dont see that as a problem because its a new generation. people today are open minded. also, who was president in 1982, and where was he from? that surley played and effect on the race. also, that election in 1982 was pretty close, unlike the 8 point margian separating mccain from obama.
Again, i may be wrong but that is my opinion.

Palin's Comments

in my opinion, Palin's comment about Obama, that hes "palling around with terrorists", is just low. that is a trashy move. i just lost all respect for mccain and palin. that is such a cheap shot. its racist, and unethical. and its not true. just because he is from an islamic background, does not mean he is a terrorist. and that guy Aires, who is supposidally his accomplice, is ONLY an aquaintance-nothing more. and the sad thing is people will actually believe that he is a terrorist. i pose one question though, why would someone who hates america spend all his time and money and effort trying to become its leader and help it go toward the right direction?
